Welcome back to our 10 with the Team series! Today we’re spotlighting Simran Keswani (Simi), an Associate here at Triangulate Knowledge who helps lead our Sydney office. Even in under a year, she’s been a force on the client service team - so we thought it was the perfect time to introduce her properly.
Let’s get to know Simi better by asking her 10 quick-fire questions!
Q1. What’s one skill you’ve developed the most since joining TK?
I’ve levelled up my people skills. Every expert is basically a new personality pack you have to unlock, and figuring out how to frame things differently for each person has become an art form. Even with written communications, I’ve learned when to use “client-style corporate poetry” vs. “expert-style straight talk.” It’s like I’m bilingual now.
Q2. What do you enjoy most about working at TK?
As cliché as it sounds, learning about so many industries and staying up to date on the entire business ecosystem is genuinely my favourite part. I now have an alarming number of fun facts to drop into conversations with friends and family, and I can confidently join discussions on topics I knew absolutely nothing about a year ago.
Q3. What’s a common misconception about expert networks you’d love to clear up?
That there is always the perfect expert ready and able to do a call in a secret underground bunker waiting on standby like the Avengers. I promise, there is no Bat-signal. We just know how to find the right people really fast.
Q4. What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
Ask the right questions and you’ll end up in the right places. Half the time, you’re only one good question away from getting what you want, or at least pretending you know what’s going on.
Q5. How do you stay organised during a busy project week?
With an alarming number of to-do lists and a colour-coded calendar so intense it could probably guide aircraft traffic.
Q6. What’s one thing you’re currently learning or trying to improve?
I’m learning not to underestimate how long tasks take. Somehow, in my head, everything takes “like 10 minutes.” It never takes 10 minutes.
Q7. What’s something your people would be surprised to learn about you?
I can watch a whole TV series in what some would consider 'an unreasonable amount of time' - but I call it dedication.
Q8. Who’s one person you’d invite to dinner, dead or alive?
I’d pick Indra Nooyi. She’s someone who led with intelligence, empathy, and resilience, and still made space for family and values along the way. I’d love to hear her reflections on leadership, identity, and how she stayed grounded through such a demanding career.
Q9. What’s one achievement at TK you’re especially proud of so far?
I’m proud of consistently getting experts who clients love, even on the trickiest niche projects. If “finding needles in haystacks” were a job title, I’d put it on my LinkedIn.
Q10. What’s one part of the job that keeps you on your toes?
Every project feels like solving a puzzle under a deadline, with half the pieces missing and the others still deciding whether they want to participate.
